All platform scenarios X scenario arithmetic

X (Twitter) earnings calculator

Enter your own rate assumptions to explore an impressions-based scenario. This is arithmetic for planning, not a model of current X payments. X announced retirement of Creator Revenue Sharing on September 7, 2026.

Step 1 · X

Enter your monthly numbers

Enter known monthly metrics. Defaults are assumptions, not confirmed data. Results save to your combined total.

X programme change

The old revenue-sharing preset has been retired. This tool now requires your own low and high rates and performs scenario arithmetic only. It does not predict payments from X’s new programme. Read X’s announcement.

Fictional demonstration scenarios, not observed creator earnings. These results use the current calculator engine. Rates are illustrative assumptions, not official platform rates. All amounts are monthly USD.

Fictional custom rates

100,000 impressions and invented demonstration rates of $0.01–$0.05 per 1,000. These are not X rates or recommendations.

Why this estimate?

Each component below comes from the same model that produces your total. Amounts are USD, before expenses and taxes.

Custom X scenario
100,000 impressions / 1,000 × your $0.01–$0.05 rate assumptions$1.00–$5.00

Components show cents; the headline rounds to whole dollars. Inspect every model rate and limitation.

  • This is user-defined impressions × rate arithmetic, not an X payout model.
  • X announced retirement of Creator Revenue Sharing on September 7, 2026. The previous preset has been removed.
  • Your entered rates do not establish Original Content Rewards eligibility, its payout basis, or future payments.
  • No geography adjustment is applied. Subscriptions and sponsorships are excluded.
  • Rates are illustrative model assumptions, not published platform rates or measured benchmarks. Actual revenue can be zero or outside this range.

Double impressions

Only impressions double. The arithmetic doubles; an actual platform payout need not.

Explicit zero rates

The same impressions with zero rates yield zero. Public attention does not itself establish payment.

Changing one input isolates its effect inside this model. It does not show what a platform will pay. Eligibility, actual monetization, and omitted income sources can produce a different outcome, including zero.

What this calculator does

The tool multiplies entered impressions divided by 1,000 by your chosen low and high rates. There is no default platform rate and no audience multiplier. A mathematically correct result does not make the assumptions predictive.

Inputs used for the X estimate

Why the estimated range can change

Programme changes

The old preset is no longer offered. Consult X’s current official programme information and your own account before using a scenario in a plan.

Rate evidence

A hypothetical rate is not a published payout schedule. If you derive a rate from your own history, match the reporting period and revenue category and do not assume it will repeat.

Eligibility and uncertainty

Public impressions do not establish programme enrollment, eligible activity, or future revenue. Zero revenue remains possible even when this calculation is positive.

What the X scenario does not include

Add these separately if you know them. The result is an estimate of platform payouts, not a record of actual earnings.

Can this account earn yet?

Payouts only start once an account joins the platform’s creator program. See the current X monetization requirements, including follower and view thresholds and the revenue share. Or enter your own numbers in the X monetization checker to see exactly what is left.

X earnings questions

Why is there no default X rate?

X announced that Creator Revenue Sharing would retire on September 7, 2026. SocialRevCounter removed its old preset instead of presenting an obsolete rate as current.

Does this predict Original Content Rewards?

No. The result only shows what your entered impressions and rate assumptions produce; it does not reproduce the new programme’s payout calculation.

Can I still compare scenarios?

Yes. Enter your own rates, save the scenario, and change the inputs to inspect sensitivity. Keep it separate from actual account earnings.
