Will your next deal cover your costs?

Enter your own costs and proposed fee to find the number of paid deliverables needed to break even. All amounts are USD.

Your monthly plan

No follower-based pricing. Use one consistent deliverable, such as one sponsored video. Inputs are processed for this result and are not added to your saved platform estimates.

Choose one unit of work before calculating

A short post, an edited video, and a three-month content licence can involve very different costs. Use the same scope for the fee and cost inputs. If your deals vary, make separate plans rather than averaging away the expensive work.

Separate fixed costs from delivery costs

A monthly editing-software subscription belongs in fixed costs. A freelance editor paid for each video belongs in delivery costs. A cost should appear in one place only. If equipment serves several projects, choose and document how much of its cost this monthly plan should recover.

Check the capacity constraint

A plan that needs eight deals is not workable if you can produce four. More demand would not solve that production limit. Explore a smaller scope, a different fee, or lower costs and recalculate. Capacity is a limit, not evidence that a brand will buy.

Profitability and cash timing are different

This arithmetic assumes the entered fees are collected for the deliveries you complete. A profitable month can still leave a cash shortage if you pay an editor before a client pays you. Record payment dates separately, and do not treat an unsigned proposal as collected revenue.
