How many TikTok views do you need to make $100?

If every view qualifies for the Creator Rewards Program, $100 takes roughly 77,000 to 676,000 views. In practice only part of your views qualify. If about a third do, $100 takes roughly 219,000 to 1,923,000 total views.

Quick answer

1 million qualified views earns about $148–$1,302. If about a third of your views qualify, 1 million total views earns about $52–$456.

Only “qualified” views pay

TikTok’s Creator Rewards Program does not pay for every view. To count, a view generally has to be on an original video longer than one minute, mostly from the For You feed, and the video needs to pass a minimum number of views before it starts earning. Duets, stitches, reposted clips, and videos under a minute do not earn rewards. TikTok shows your qualified views and estimated rewards in TikTok Studio → Creator Rewards Program.

That is why our calculator asks what share of your views qualify. A creator who posts mostly long, original videos may have most of their views qualify; one who posts short clips may have almost none.

Views needed for $100, $500, and $1,000

The wide ranges are real: two creators with identical views can earn very different amounts depending on where their viewers live and how engaging the videos are.

Where your viewers live matters

Like YouTube, TikTok earns more from advertisers targeting the United States and other high-spending markets. With every view qualified and an all-US audience, 1 million views earns about $247–$1,302. Check TikTok Studio → Analytics → Viewers to see where your audience is.
